Wheat Markets Are Down, Why Isn't My Grocery Bill?

In recent weeks, the wheat market has seen a significant decline in price. However, consumers continue to look at their grocery bills with frustration.

 

The once erratic wheat market now sits at a comfortable single-digit price of approximately $8. As producers prepare to harvest their crop, local wheat cash prices are approximately $7 per bushel.
